The CIS Board of Directors  are the Trustees of CIS who manage and maintain authority over all affairs of CIS.  Board development has always been conducted with a keen awareness of the need for diversity of experience and expertise, and our board consists of members with established interests in the areas of social services, philanthropy, and business.

Friends of Communities In Schools  (FOCIS) exists to raise awareness about how dropout affects the community, what CIS is doing to address this epidemic, and what you can do to help.  Get involved with FOCIS and help us reach out to youth through Santa Sacks, to new supporters through outreach luncheons, and to the community through speaking and other community-based engagements.
