"My daughter is a CIS student of Lamar High School and has been apart of the program since 2007. Through her early years in school she attended five different HISD schools before landing at Lamar High School. She has always been a great student, but was faced with many challenges that were out of her control. Once my daughter was in the CIS program the project manager kept me posted consistently on her progress. The great change came when the project manager sent out an email to all my daughter's current teachers petitioning their support as CIS utlized interventions to assist my daughter with her academic success. My daughter has shown progress with less tardiness, no more in school suspensions, and much more pleasant and approachable to her teachers. As a parent I am so grateful for the CIS program!"
